Our mission
Most casino comparison sites are really just promotional pages in disguise. They recommend sites based on who's paying the most for placement, write about bonuses in a way that buries the important small print, and use superlatives where they have no basis for them. We don't do any of that.
Casino Rank Lab covers navigation, layout, and mobile experience. We look at whether a site is comfortable and logical to use. We do not write about bonuses, wagering requirements, or promotional offers. Those things change too often, and there are better places to find that information.
The measure of whether we're doing this right is simple: does someone leave this site with a clearer idea of what a casino platform is actually like to use? If yes, we've done our job.
Affiliate relationships and commercial disclosure
Some of the outbound links on Casino Rank Lab are affiliate links. If you click one and visit the operator's site, we may receive a small commission. This is how independent editorial sites in this space typically generate revenue.
We are transparent about this: the disclosure notice at the top of our comparison page and the footer of every page makes clear that some links may be commercial in nature.
Our assessments are written independently. Operators don't pay for placement, can't buy a better position, and have no say in what we write. We have broadly the same commercial arrangement with most of the operators we list — which is precisely why it can't be used to rank one above another.
If we ever receive a free service, product, or any other consideration from an operator, we will disclose this clearly within the relevant content.
Review standards and independence
All sites we include in our comparison are assessed against the same five criteria: usability, how visible trust and licence information is, the ease of accessing support, the clarity of game content, and overall site experience. These criteria are described in detail on our how we review page.
Assessments are based on visits to the live site. We access each site as a visitor would, without using operator-provided accounts or attending guided demonstrations. Our notes reflect what is publicly visible without logging in.
We do not accept payment for positive coverage, and operators are not consulted during the writing of assessments. We will not alter an assessment based on a request from an operator unless the request identifies a factual error that we can verify independently.
We apply a consistent standard across all sites regardless of their size, age, or the level of any commercial relationship we have with them.
Corrections policy
If something we've written is factually wrong — the navigation doesn't look like we described, or the site has changed since our visit — we want to know and we'll fix it.
Use the contact form to flag a potential error. We'll check against the live site and update if the correction is valid. We try to respond within five working days.
We don't pull assessments because an operator asked us to, unless the site has closed, lost its licence, or changed so completely that keeping our description up would be misleading. Smaller changes are updated as part of our regular review cycle, with the date noted on the listing.
